Information We Collect

When you book a pickup through our website we collect the following information:

  • Personal identifiers: Full name, email address, phone number
  • Location data: Street address, apartment/unit number, neighborhood, city, state, and zip code
  • Service preferences: Service type, pickup date and time window, payment method preference, and special instructions
  • Order data: Order ID, order status, estimated and confirmed weights and totals, pickup and delivery timestamps
  • Communications: Any messages or emails you send to info@nexxwash.com
  • Consent records: Your SMS opt-in consent status and timestamp

We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account details, or financial credentials. All payments are processed directly through third-party platforms (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle) and are governed by their respective privacy policies.

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information solely to provide and improve our laundry pickup and delivery service. Specifically we use it to:

  • Process and confirm your pickup and delivery orders
  • Send order status updates via email and, if you opt in, SMS
  • Contact you regarding your order, pricing approval, or delivery confirmation
  • Maintain order records and your customer history for repeat orders
  • Improve our services based on order patterns and feedback
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your information for targeted advertising. NexxWash does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes.

Third-Party Services We Use

To operate our service we use the following third-party platforms that may process your data:

  • Airtable — stores your order records and customer information securely
  • Make (Integromat) — automates order notifications and workflow processes
  • Twilio — sends SMS order status notifications to your mobile number
  • Namecheap Private Email — sends email order notifications from info@nexxwash.com
  • Netlify — hosts our website and processes form submissions

Each of these services maintains their own privacy policies and security practices. We only share the minimum data necessary to operate our service. Service providers may process information only to support NexxWash operations, such as hosting, order records, email delivery, and SMS delivery. SMS opt-in data and mobile phone numbers are not shared with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS Privacy Notice

NexxWash uses customer phone numbers to send laundry pickup confirmations, order status updates, weight and price approval messages, delivery updates, and customer support messages only when a customer has opted in to SMS communication on the booking form.

The booking form includes an optional SMS consent checkbox that is unchecked by default. Customers can book service without opting in to SMS messages.

  • Customer support related to a NexxWash order
Message frequency: Message frequency varies per order, typically up to 6–7 messages per order. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

SMS data sharing: NexxWash does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any NexxWash text message at any time. You will be unsubscribed and will receive no further SMS from us unless you opt in again.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information and order records for up to 3 years after your last order to support repeat service preferences and business records. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting info@nexxwash.com.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Our order data is stored in Airtable with access restricted to NexxWash operations personnel only.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Data Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
  • Opt-out of SMS: Reply STOP to any message or email us

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have collected information from a minor please contact us immediately at info@nexxwash.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of NexxWash LLC's laundry pickup and delivery services and website. By submitting a booking you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree please do not use our services.

Service Description

NexxWash LLC provides on-demand laundry pickup, washing, folding, and delivery services to customers in Newark, New Jersey and surrounding areas. Our service includes:

  • Pickup of laundry bags from your specified address
  • Washing, drying, and folding of garments per your instructions
  • Delivery of completed laundry to your specified address
  • Order status notifications via email and, when you opt in, SMS

NexxWash is a pickup and delivery service. We partner with local laundromats for processing. We are not a dry cleaning service and do not offer dry cleaning unless explicitly stated.

Pricing & Payment

Our current pricing is as follows:

  • Fresh Start (Next-Day): $1.99 per pound — everyday laundry
  • NexxRush (24-Hour Priority): $2.49 per pound — fast turnaround
  • Care Plus (Delicates): $2.99 per pound — sensitive fabrics & special care
  • Minimum order: $35.00 per pickup
  • Pickup & delivery: Free on every order
⚠️ Price Confirmation Process: The estimated total shown at booking is based on your weight estimate. The final confirmed price is determined after we weigh your order following pickup. We will send you the confirmed total via email and, if you opted in, SMS before washing begins. Washing only starts after you reply YES to approve the price. If you do not approve within 2 hours we will contact you directly.

Payment is due within 24 hours of delivery via Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle as selected at booking. We reserve the right to withhold future service for accounts with outstanding unpaid balances.

Prices are subject to change. Changes will be reflected on NexxWash.com and do not affect orders already confirmed.

SMS Terms & Conditions

By opting in to NexxWash SMS messages, you agree to receive text messages related to your laundry pickup and delivery order. These messages may include pickup confirmations, order updates, laundry weight and price approval, delivery notifications, and customer support messages.

Opt-in method: Customers opt in by checking the optional SMS consent checkbox on the NexxWash booking form before submitting a pickup request. The checkbox is not preselected, and SMS consent is not required to book service.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies per order. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or email orders@nexxwash.com for order issues or info@nexxwash.com for general enquiries.

NexxWash does not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in data or mobile phone numbers with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes.

Booking & Cancellation

Bookings are confirmed via email and, if you opted in, SMS within 2 hours of submission during operating hours. A booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation message from NexxWash.

Cancellations: You may cancel your order at no charge any time before pickup. If you wish to cancel after pickup but before price approval reply NO to the price approval message. Your laundry will be returned unwashed at no charge. Once you have approved the price and washing has begun cancellations are not accepted.

Missed pickups: If we arrive at your address during the confirmed window and cannot access your laundry we will attempt to contact you. If unreachable the order will be cancelled and you will need to rebook.

Customer Responsibilities

By booking a pickup you agree to:

  • Ensure your laundry bags are ready and accessible at your door during the confirmed pickup window
  • Provide accurate contact information and a correct pickup address
  • Disclose any items requiring special care at the time of booking via the special instructions field
  • Respond to price approval messages within 2 hours of receipt
  • Submit payment within 24 hours of delivery confirmation
  • Not include items prohibited under our Prohibited Items policy below
Prohibited Items

The following items are not accepted in any NexxWash order:

  • Items contaminated with biohazardous materials, bodily fluids, or infectious substances
  • Dry-clean-only garments submitted as standard Fresh Start without prior disclosure
  • Items containing illegal substances
  • Heavily soiled items containing chemicals, oils, or industrial materials
  • Valuables left in pockets including cash, jewelry, electronics, or documents
⚠️ Pockets: NexxWash is not responsible for any items left in pockets. Please empty all pockets before placing items in your laundry bag. We will not be held liable for lost, damaged, or destroyed items found in pockets during processing.
Liability & Damage Claims

NexxWash handles all garments with care. In the event of damage or loss:

  • You must report any damage or missing items within 24 hours of delivery
  • Claims reported after 24 hours will not be accepted
  • NexxWash liability is limited to the confirmed order total paid for that order
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, color bleeding between garments, or damage resulting from undisclosed care instructions
  • We are not liable for normal wear and tear resulting from standard washing and drying

To submit a damage claim email orders@nexxwash.com for order issues or info@nexxwash.com for general enquiries with your Order ID, description of the issue, and photos within 24 hours of delivery. We will review all claims within 5 business days.

✅ Our commitment: We take every claim seriously. If we determine that damage occurred due to our handling we will offer a fair resolution including a full or partial refund of your order total.
Service Area & Availability

NexxWash currently serves all neighborhoods in Newark, NJ including Ironbound, Downtown, Central Ward, North Ward, South Ward, and West Ward. Service availability is subject to order volume and operational capacity. We reserve the right to decline bookings outside our service area or during periods of high demand.

Standard turnaround is next-day delivery — pickup today, delivery by tomorrow. Same-day service may be available at our discretion and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Intellectual Property

All content on NexxWash.com including the NexxWash name, logo, slogan "Newark Hustles Hard. Your Laundry Shouldn't.", website design, and written content is the property of NexxWash LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without written permission.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding our services we encourage you to contact us first at info@nexxwash.com. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes directly and fairly within 10 business days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any legal disputes that cannot be resolved directly will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Essex County, New Jersey.

Modifications to Terms

NexxWash reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and NexxWash LLC regarding the use of our services. They supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings.
